The journey to investigate reading skills and book genres for first graders begins here! This option works well for students who need guided instruction. This service is for students who read at or near grade level. All instruction in this service is guided (the teacher does all academic work with students). Students then do the same assignments completed during session for homework. The first 8 weeks of instruction are free. Afterwards, each session is $12.50. This is a 12 session course. There are follow up courses should you choose to continue.

Logistics
1. Sessions last 30 minutes. Groups contain up to 9 students. 

2. Sessions take place on Zoom -- Grade 1 Thursdays at 5:15 pm EST.  

3. Students must have access to a computer, laptop or mobile phone (in order to participate and do the homework).

4. Students will have to be tested to determine their reading level. This examination takes less than 5 minutes. 

5. Once your application is received, you will be contacted with instructions on arranging a reading test.
